Blaise Pabon travelled all over the world as a child, primarily in Europe, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. He says "there was always something new coming around the corner". Looking back, he's noticed a general upward trend in the quality of his life, and that keeps him optimistic about the future. He describes himself as an underwater videographer, ham radio amateur, volunteer counselor, erstwhile
sanksrit student, fountain pen collector, and mushroom hunter. Blaise currently works for Postini Corporation as a Sales Consultant.Blaise joined CH@Home Toastmasters in 2000 and earned his CTM and CL in 2001. He received his ATM-B at CH@Home's "Evening of Achievement" in Sept. 2002. Blaise held two terms as CH@Home's President, which he described as "an experience full of pleasant surprises". He then served as VP Education. Blaise has done well in speech contests, winning CH@Home's Evaluation Contest three years in a row and placing 3rd at Area C1 contest in 2002. In 2003, Blaise won first place at Area C1's Humorous Contest and then competed at the Division C Contest. Blaise's favorite speech topics are fountain pens and scuba diving.
"I'm now able to address an audience with a coherent speech without having to prepare, thanks to the practice I have had in Toastmasters." - Blaise Pabon
