I never dreamed I'd become a fervent Tears for Fears fan. But I fell in love with them after buying thier greatest hits album, after seeing thier video for "Sowing the Seeds of Love" on a late-night video program.
Speaking of the video, I made a mistake...
and I came across a cute TFF inspired cartoon ("Mutts", Patrick McDonnel) in the newpaper, dated March 15,'95, (see below).

Here is an anectote.....
I was desparate to hear the new "Ratkos" album back in 1995. When the single "God's Mistake" came out, I called the deejay of the local radio station and begged her to play it. When she put it on at 2:30 AM, she said, "this goes out to Jerri in Lafayette, a recent but fervent Tears for Fears fan". You should have seen my face! Her name was Beth Holland(!)of all things, and if that rings a bell,click here...
