Raider Carrying Case
Dark Eldar Page
Someone on the Commorragh website asked for advice on the best way to store and transport Raiders, since the tail fins are rather fragile.  I decided to post a few photos that show the method that I currently use. My Raider cases are inexpensive stackable plastic containters that can be purchased at Walmart or any discount store.   The containers have removable lids and are roughly 16 inches long, 8 inches wide, and 6 inches deep.  I cut a piece of 1 inch thick foam to  fit in the bottom of the container and bonded it to a cardboard backing.   Three cut-outs were made in the foam to fit the three raiders that will go in the case.  My raiders have removable bases so the models can be placed securely in the openings n the foam.  The raider bases and gunners are placed in smaller cut-outs in the foam. As a side note the foam that you use can be any thickness up to 6" if you like.  One inch foam was what I had at the time and it works well enough for me.
