Another one of my favorite Disney movies! Beauty & The Beast! Belle is in my top three favorite Disney Princesses and I believe she is very smart and down-to-earth. She has probably read every book in the library and I bet if she were alive today would be very computer-smart.
And even though very smart, she is also very pretty. Even Gaston was attracted to her good looks. But Bell wasn't interested in him.
Belle was an ordinary girl living in an ordinary little town. She lived with her father, Maurice, who was an inventor.The town thought that Maurice was a crazy old man and that Belle was strange.
It is true that Belle was not like the other girls in the town. She enjoyed reading books, and was quite possibly the only girl who didn't throw herself at Gaston.

This rose was given as a gift to the Beast by an Enchantress. It was to bloom until his 21st birthday, and if he didn't fall in love with someone and if they didn't return his love, he would remain in the form of a beast forever.
Belle is smart and a dreamer. She is slefless, which is why she stayed with the Beast in her father's place.
