Yes, the Queen was so vain and jealous that she tried to have Snow White killed, simply because Snow White was more fair and beautiful than she.The Queen would try anything, just to make herself fairest in the land.
It's ironic how, in order to make herself fairest in the land, the Queen even went so far as to make herself look like this.
But, since the Queen was so greedy and evil in her pursuit, she got herself killed, and Snow White and her prince lived happily ever after.
