| The story begins with a young man named Tidus preparing for a game called Blitzball. After talking to his loyal fans, he enters the arena and the game begins. While an enigmatic character watches young Tidus from above, a ghastly sphere of water raises out of the ocean, and obliterates the city. Tidus and the enigmatic man, found out to be an old friend named Auron, fight their way to safety, to find themselves sucked into this giant beast known only as Sin. When Tidus awakens from his coma like dream, he is lost in a world completely detached from his own. As Tidus takes his first steps into this world, he wonders how he will ever survive, and if he will ever return home... Meanwhile, a young girl named Yuna begins her journey to become a summoner and save her world from the monster called Sin. Yuna's father defeated Sin ten years prior with the help of Auron and a man named Jecht, Tidus finds himself pulled deeper and deeper into this world that he does not fully understand, but he knows that the connection between himself and Sin must be very close. |
