The aim was to raise as much money as possible to provide a new football pitch in Umlazi Township, South Africa.
The Gala Day was a huge success. The football tournament was opened by Sir Tom Finney and enjoyed by all who took part. The stalls and attractions raised a stunning �1000.
The winners of the junior football tournament were St. Clare's and the winners of the senior tournament were Christ Church.
Thanks to all those who took part, helped and came along to enjoy the day.
