Life Story
Ryan was born in Rome, Italy, on July
13th, 1979. He grew up in Rome, watching
the Roman Pro Wrestling circuit. When
Ryan got to be fifteen, he decided that
he wanted to be a pro wrestler when he
grew up. Ryan joined the Roman Pro
Wrestling Circuit and toured Rome,
delighting fans with his high Flying
style. Ryan got noticed by Tajakmi
Mistsuhara from Tokyo Pro Wrestling and
was signed on the spot. Ryan left Rome
for Tokyo and more money. Arriving in
Tokyo, Ryan made his debut there on
August 21st, 1995, when he was just
sixteen. One day soon after, working a
show, Ryan met a young street fighter
from Brooklyn named Ven. the two became
fast friends, and as it turned out, Ven
was signed to the same promotion as
Ryan. The two formed a successful tag
team named the Night Assassins,
capturing a number of singles and tag
team titles. It was their second defense
on their third run as tag team champions
when Ven broke his foot doing a kick
when his opponent held up a chair. Ven
was put out for quite a while. In the
meantime, Ryan was signed by the
American promotion Pure Championship
Wrestling and went stateside. Ryan,
under the moniker the Rabid Mexican, met
with success their also, capturing the
Intercontinental and Cruiserweight
titles before the promotion shut down
from lack of funding. Ryan quickly found
work for the Outsiders Championship
Wrestling promotion. After adopting a
more technical style Ryan found much
success, becoming a three time OCW world
heavyweight champion. When Ryan left
that federation because of contract
disputes, he joined up with his old
friend from the PCW Showstopper in the
Colosseum. Ryan was misused, and so quit
the Colosseum after a few weeks. Ryan
stayed away from wrestling for a while,
but eventually found a home in the farm
fed Americas Heartland Wrestling. Ryan
got off to a bad start but eventually
came back to win the Extreme title,
keeping it for a long while before
giving it to BeHolden as a gift. Ryan
quit the wrestling world, for a while before coming back to join the GWF
