GBAS conducts a number of tournaments throughout the year.
We start the year with our Inter Club competition which begins in April, stretching over 5 months to September. The Inter Club semi-finals and finals are normally played in August and September. During this period, club members are very actively involved with playing the rounds.
In September we conduct our GBAS School Carnival, which is a very important activity of our Junior Development Program. This event is now attracting a large number of schools from all over Sydney with over 300 students having participated this year.
The Junior Open takes place in June. We wrap up our tournament activities with the One Day Mixed Team competition in November.
These tournaments attract players from the Sydney region, as well as other city and regional areas. The tournaments are intended for players of all levels and age groups.
