No cat misses out on hugs and tender loving care when Brooke is around.  She simply adores all furry felines.  We once took her to a CFA cat show and Brooke was in *purrfect* heaven.  For her fourth birthday, Brooke received a chocolate Persian kitten named "Magic".  She loved this cat and was often found cradling the kitten or gently covering her with a blanket on cold winter nights.   Unfortunately, we suffered a tragic loss when Magic died from a congenital defect.  We now have two other cats both silver Persians.    Brooke named the female "Shadow".  Shadow is brimming with personality and is quite the pretty thing...though a bit *snootier* than Magic ever was.
