DESCRIPTION: Standard for AVR programming interface


Standard Info

ISP programming interface is used by ATMEL AVR microprocessors. HF-10060 standard was introduced first in my project in early 2000s already in first AT90S2313 projects. It was my design. What is important target microprocessor cannot be damaged if you connect plug reversibly! That was tested thousands times, I even manage to damaged some other devices connected to ISP ports (74374 in HF-6030), but never AVR processor. Interface on the target PCB is made by 6 (2x3) male goldpin 2.54 mm connector, while programming equipment must have female 6 (2x3) goldpin 2.54 mm connector.
