DESCRIPTION: Standard for parallel memory interface (64KB) (2)


Standard Info

This standard was introduced by HF-6423 RAM memory module with battery backup in conjuction with HF-6030 digital system (via HF-64123 standard converter). Female 2x17 goldpin connector (2.54 mm) is installed on memory module cable, while male 2x15 goldpin connector (2.54 mm) is installed on digital systems. It is used as external memory for both program or data for various digital systems, especially for 'retro' microprocessors. Program code can be loaded from HF-6030 (inserted directly from keyboard or downloaded from PC) to HF-6423 and plugged into target digital system.

Key: Connector key is placed on A1 on female connector (it is standard FDD cable). On the second side male connector must be clearly marked with red paint on the (or near) A1.
