Lead Me, Lord | |
Now, Lord, just lead and guide my erring feet each day.
Without Thy help I fear that I shall miss the way.
I'll live my life as Thou hast said that it should be,
Commit my soul and body, Lord, my all in all to Thee.
Lord, lead me on. I do not care or need to know
The way that Thou wouldst tell me I should surely go.
Though it be on land or yet across the ocean's foam
With You, my Lord, to lead me, oh, I'm coming home.
Lead on, dear Lord, and keep me walking in the light.
Keep me from straying, Lord, and always in Thy sight,
No matter what the trials of life for me may be,
I'm safe, dear Lord, as long as I shall walk with Thee,
Still lead me, Lord, and draw me closer yet to Thee.
In loving kindness let me live in peace and purity.
Now give strength to hold me up lest I should fall.
All praise to Thee, dear Lord, I know You'll hear my call.
