Its a site dedicated to the bibliographical resources on line. It has well-structured
sections, but it has few links outside U.S.A.
- www.umld.umich.edu
This is the site of University of Michigan. It has good contents, but its
very difficult to navigate.
- lcweb.loc.gov .Who doesnt
know the Library of Congress? It has born as help for Congress work, but
it has developed itself into the largest library in the world. Here you can find
almost everything about U.S.A. and, in the last few years, also about the overseas
countries.

(in Italian). It has a notable quantity of digital texts freely downloadble (a
true rarity on the Web)

(in Italian) It is a private initiative (we are on tripod after all), but it possesses
varied downloadble texts , between which some writings of history of average interest.

(in English). Finally, a digital library with several texts that can be downloaded
immediately. In addition to this, it has a lot of links to other historical sites.
- www.ambrosiana.it
(in Italian). The official site of the Library Ambrosiana in Milan. Unfourtunately,
in addition to the famous name, it offers little, but a bibliographical index
of the volumes of the institution.
- www.bncf.firenze.sbn.it
(in Italian). Another famous library that successed in exploit the new techlologies,
offering a good system of on-line consultation, never seen before.
- www.crosby-lundin.com/tibet/
(in English). A site dedicated to Thibet. Documents about history, custums and
traditions of the Asian nations, including original texts and links to other library
resources.
- www.ibiblio.org (in
English). You can hundreds of texts integrally downloadbleon about several defferent
subjects, from the literature to the history, from the geography to medicine.
