The aquarium to the left is my nephews community tank. I commented to him that I was glad to see that he has a rather large school of neons. I count about 15 but he tells me there is actually 20 neons in this tank. Large schools for most Tetras decreases stress levels promoting better health for these great little fish. He also has a nice selection of fancy guppies, among other species. |

Jason's crawfish tank is awesome yet spoooky. These critters are one of the ugliest inverts of the underwater world but are fascintaing to watch close-up. We can only see two in this picture but Jason told me that there are 3 adults and six juveniles. He said they are very difficult to photograph because they are most always hiding away. What a great natural look to this habitat. |

This website has been established for the purpose of sharing my experiences with Jack Dempseys with those of you who may be interested. |
These photos of a handsome Jack Dempsey were sent to me from Penny, out of California. She wrote that her male Jack Dempsey was just about abandoned and starving when she received it. She tells me that several gold fish live side by side with him. He simply decided not to eat these feeders but rather keep them as companions. Strange how nature works. My thanks goes to Penny for allowing me to post her pictures here and for visiting my website. |
