- Thank you to Vincent who was the first person to use my e-mail form.

open. He asked about transmitting files to the calculator, and I have
added my response to the frequently
asked
questions page.
- Work is continuing on our HPGCalc series of programs
(including the new ADK). A sneak preview of NoteMaker
is now here.

- HPGEdit - my old name for a new ADK has got an updated
website, created by contributor Matt Grosvenor. View his website here. The
link has been added to the Links
section and the HPGEdit
page.

- Maze program uploaded:
This is a Java application which allows you to generate, solve and play
two-dimensional mazes. Get

- Work starts again on HPGEdit:

- HPGEdit and HPGCalc font updated:
I have made slight updates to these items - nothing major, mainly
affecting the display of special characters from the calculators. Check
the changes to HPGEdit here
and the font here.

- Complete site redesign:
Why? Because I no longer use FrontPage, and also because GeoCities no
longer allows me (easily) maintain a large site. This new design will
be
very low-bandwidth friendly.
- New content:
Now there is a Java section to coincide with my Java programming and...
- First preview release of HPGEdit:
Finally, a new editor for the HP Graphing Calculators - HP38/39/40G.

- Encourage me to
update:
I haven't updated this site much. I haven't had much encouragement to update, but
maybe there will be big things soon.
- Links updated:
I have updated some links in a couple of pages, since some sites have
moved over the last year. The brilliant HP Home View has
had a redesign and now has a domain name. Also, I have updated the
download page.
- New Dominoes Game Added:
A new game has been added! This is a version of dominoes (sadly only
menu-based) which has full multiplayer support, including variable
human
and computer players. Get it now!

- Apology for lack of updates:
I apologize for the lack of updates to this site - being in Year 12
this year it is nearing exam time for us. Therefore I have been
spending
less time on the Internet and this site, but do check back regularly
for updates.
- New Tip: Using Virtual Directories when sending to/from
computer:
This is a feature with much potential that I only discovered recently,
allowing you to categorize all of your calculator files to more easily
download them to/from your calculator. Read
on...
- You can now download all files at once!
I have made ZIP files containing all of the software on this site,
available for either HP38G or HP39/40G. Download
now.

- HP Document Generator for Microsoft Internet Explorer
released:
(NO LONGER EXISTS!) This web page is a micro-application which allows
you to create and save notes and programs compatible with the
HP38/39/40G calculators directly. Read more above. Expect to see
upgrades to extra features in the future including versions for other
browsers (such as Netscape).

- New HP38/39/40G game uploaded:
Peg Jump is a
translation
of the solitaire peg game in a graphical form. HP38G users should note
that this program is fairly large and slow.
- Problem using GETKEY documented:
I became aware of a problem using the GETKEY function in programs for
the HP38G and later translating them to the HP39/40G or vice versa.
This
problem is documented here on the
Tips/FAQs page.
- Updates made to Security
and Tic Tac Toe programs:
I became aware of errors in these programs today and have uploaded
updated archives. Users who have downloaded these archives in the past
are advised to re-download these programs. This error is the GETKEY
error above. Tic Tac Toe also had a missing file.
