Fishing Competitions
It's Great news for fishing - the Barbel competition
is back on. Now I have to advise you to win this competition you don't
have to drink lots it's not the biggest Bar Bill (as some of my Kariba
Angling members thought) but the biggest Barbel fish. The competition will
be held from 12 Noon on the 29 June to 12 Noon on the 30 June at Marimba
Angling Club at Lake Chiveo. As soon as I know I will let you know the
entry fee and contact people.

KITFT
I spent Thursday afternoon at the lawyers sorting
out the ins and outs of what NAUZ and the KITFT Committee had done over
the past year and a half in regards to me personally and in my position
as KITFT Chairman. CENSORED
SECTION REMOVED
I will however continue as Kariba Angling Society
Chairman , as long as the members want me too. I would like to Thank the
three provincial heads of Mashonland , Midlands and Manicaland for their
total dedication to angling in Zimbabwe, these gentlemen give me faith
that maybe there is hope in this land of ours.
Anyone who wishes to know any other details
is more than welcome to give me a call on
011 400 754, as I do not wish to bore you all with
the details.
NAUZ Congress
This is the notice from NAUZ.
Herewith official notice of the NAUZ Congress on Sunday
9 June at Claw Dam 9 for 9:30.
]Please let us know how many of you will attend for
catering purposes.
Will forward agenda as and when we receive it
To date no agenda has been recieved, as soon as it
comes I will foward to all of you.
This is the place that any angler belonging to the
Union who wishes to voice their opinion or find out what is going on in
the Union must go. Even though the members do not have a vote here, the
floor by a majority of showing of hands can insist on the NAUZ Committee
addresses certain matters of concern to angler's.
Please make an attempt to get there, maybe make a
week-end of it fishing on Saturday and attending the AGM on Sunday. Even
though you don't have a vote your presence may make a difference.
Cheers for now and tight lines
Jenny
