This is a very well-done gangster film starring Dustin Hoffman as the main gangster and Loren Dean as a kid who gets mixed up in their world. Nicole Kidman is spectacular in her role as a woman who is also mixed up in the whole mess. While this is very well-done, there is nothing really special about it, nothing that makes it stand out in any way. It's still well-worth looking at, though.
