This is a highly entertaining romp with the good ol' Godzilla. Roland Emmerich struck all the right notes in making this modern-day take on the old Japanese character. Matthew Broderick and Jean Reno are perfectly cast, and the film grabs your attention and never lets up until the finale.
Rated PG-13 for monster-scale carnage.
