This is an enjoyable drama about a pregnant teenage girl (Natalie Portman) who is left at a Wal-Mart by her boyfriend. With the help of the people she meets, Novalee (Portman) gets back on her feet, and we get to see the drama of her life. While this film is highly entertaining and touching, it provides very little in subtext or artistry. That shouldn't get in the way of allowing one to be completely satisfied with this great drama.
