| Let Me Introduce Myself |
| My name is Crystal Arnold. I am the owner and operator of Little Leapers Child Care located in Bowmanville Ontario. I live with my Husband and two school-aged children (Cody, age 6 and Morgan, age 7). I have a BSc degree in Biology from McMaster University. I worked in Research and Development for the medical diagnostic field for a number of years. More and more I realized that my real passion is for children. I decided to open a Home Daycare because I take great joy in helping children meet their full potential. I have been running my home daycare for almost two years and am loving every second of my new career. My experience working with children comes from being a mother and also from teaching Sunday School. I have taken part in a number of workshops and provider training programs. I also worked with Wee Watch enriched home child care for two years before deciding to offer child care privately. I have been approved by the Durham Children's Aid Society through PRIDE training and the SAFE home assessment. We adopted our son through Durham CAS. I strive to provide high quality childcare and I strenghten this goal by taking part in caregiver support networks and in continuous caregiver training. I would love to work with you and your little one to meet your needs. I understand the needs and concerns of parents when it comes to daycare as I have had my own child in daycare. I feel that the best type of child care is home based and I strive to provide the kind of quality care that I would want for my own child. |
