Australia's favourite son,
adventurer, entrepreneur and businessman Dick Smith visited Menins
Foodstore on Saturday morning, March 24, and was literally embraced
by staff, shoppers and passer-by's.
The family-owned store stock
Dick Smith premium ice cream, produced by the local Norco dairy co-op.
Dick spent about one hour at the packed shop chatting and signing
autographs.
He is visiting the North Coast to attend his daughter's wedding.

Managing Director of local company Permo-Drive was 'parked' outside
the store waiting to show Dick an innovative hydraulic braking and
propulsion system for heavy vehicles being developed by his company.
The company has raised over $1.1 million in investment capital primarily
from local investors.
