Twins Effect

Release Date: TBA 2003
Director: Dante Lam, Donnie Yen
Screenwriter: Jack Ng
Starring: Charlene Choi, Gillian Chung, Jackie Chan, Edison Chen, Mark Strange.
Genre: Action, Horror

The action horror stars singing sensations Chung and Choi – known collectively as Twins – as high-kicking schoolgirls who are called on to battle a horde of vampires. Jackie Chan makes a special appearance as a bus driver who becomes the girls’ kung fu master.

Dante Lam (Beast Cops, Hit Team) is directing the film with Donnie Yen (Hero, Blade 2) as action director in the first of his films since his mega deal with EMG. The cast also includes Hong Kong stars Edison Chen, Ekin Cheng, Anthony Wong and Josie Ho, and not forgetting our very own Mark Strange.

Whilst Jackie Chan's appearance in the film is limited he provides his immeasurable quality to the film. Indeed even though he only had five shooting days on the film much was packed in. Indeed the first day saw Jackie getting married.

Mark's involvement in the film led to him working along side the great man himself, and given the option of working with Jackie or having a larger role jumped at the chance to work with Jackie.

Mark's part in the filmed involved a lot of action, stunts and the ability to act at 90 mph.

As the film is still in production I won't spoil it for you but all I will say is that it involves a couple of great stunts and will be well worth watching.
