Michiko Nishiwaki is without a doubt one of the world's most beautiful women.  An actress, martial artist, (A black belt in Goju Ryu Karate and is practiced in the art of Chinese Wu Shu), an accomplished gymnast and dancer, stunt woman, fight choreographer, and Japan's first Woman's Bodybuilding and Power lifting Champion. She held these titles for three consecutive years.

While still keeping her femininity and not bulking up with the aid of anabolic steroids or other drugs, Michiko created a bodybuilding "boom" all over Japan and was in constant demand for personal and television appearances, and executive personal training. All this while operating two successful gyms. Michiko forever changed the stereotype of the submissive and docile Japanese woman by being a strong role model. Japanese women, all over the country began to follow her example by working out and getting healthy, creating a better self image for themselves. Michiko is also multi-lingual, fluent in English, Japanese, Cantonese and Mandarin.

All this exposure caught the attention of International Action Stars Sammo Hung Kam Po and Jackie Chan, who invited her to be featured in their film "MY LUCKY STARS" (Jackie's biggest grossing film at the time of its release) Since that break,  Michiko has stared in over 20 films in Asia. She is one of the few actresses in Asia that can choreograph and perform her own fight scenes and stunt work. Her work has attracted an international cult following all over the world.

She has worked with some of the best talent in Asia, including: Jackie Chan ('Drunken Master 2', 'A Nice Guy'), Chow Yun-Fat ('The Killer', 'Replacement Killer"), Cynthia Rothrock (Righting Wrongs), Jeff Falcon (Six-String Samurai), Sammo Hung Kam Po ('Eastern Condors',  'CBS-TV Martial Law'), Gordon Lau Kar Fei ("The Master Killer.', 'Drunken Master 3') and Lam Ching Ying ('Enter the Dragon', 'Mr. Vampire"). Some of her best and more well known work from Hong Kong includes: "GOD OF GAMBLERS", "IN THE LINE OF DUTY 3", "MY LUCKY STARS" and "THE  AVENGING QUARTET."

She has settled in the U.S. and has quickly found work. Her current credits include, "BLADE" (w/ Wesley Snipes), the NBC drama "BRAVE NEW WORLD"(made for TV movie), "BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER" (TV Series), and "THE MAN IN THE MOON" (opposite Jim Carrey), the Television series "MARTIAL LAW" (with Sammo Hung (Kam Po), and the upcoming "CHARLIE'S ANGELS"

I got the opportunity to meet Ms. Nishiwaki during the summer of 1997. We have since become fast friends. Her charm and her poise continue to amaze me. She continues to work here in the States, and is actively pursuing acting gigs as well as stunt work.

I published this page for the simple reason that it was near to impossible to find any information or photos of Michiko on the web. And what information there was at HONG KONG CINEMA (currently defunct), while being almost complete, misspells Michiko's sir name (NISHIKAWA?). So this is my frail attempt to correct that situation, and hopefully introduce a few others into the talents of a great lady. Trust me, no one has ever look as sinister as Michiko can.  This little site is going through a major revision. Reviews of all of Michiko's films are planned, as well as more in depth reporting on what's happening with the Maiden of Mayhem. Be prepared to bow down (or Kow tao) to the goddess of high kicks.
