( G )    JDS  -  DENIES THE UNALTERABLE JUSTNESS OF JESUS

JDS doctrine teaches that the Spirit of Jesus Christ needed to be justified from sins and made spiritually alive from the sins of mankind in hell.   JDS doctrine bases this belief with verses from Timothy and Peter;

16.  And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh,
justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.  -  1 Timothy 3:16

[18] For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh,
but quickened by the Spirit: -  I Peter 3:18

The JDS doctrine falsely teaches that Peters words quickened by the Spirit mean to say that the Spirit of Christ is what had been quickened back to life.   That is to say that the Spirit of Jesus Christ was brought back to life again because it had suffered and died in hell for sins.   But this is foolish assumption on the part of the JDS doctrine and those who believe and teach it to be gospel truth.  Peter writes simply and clearly that Christ was put to death in the flesh.   Numerous scriptures which have already been shared provide confirmation to this truth.  Christ died in the flesh and therefore it was His flesh which needed to be quickened back to life.  How was this accomplished?  Peter tells us plainly that the Spirit did this work of quickening.  Peter is clearly telling the reader that it was the flesh of Christ not the Spirit of Christ which was quickened and resurrected to life.  Again therefore, is the evident mishandling and perverting of the scriptures by the doctrine of JDS which it also does with the verses of Matt. 12:39-40 and John 3:14 as was also discussed
previously

In Pauls letter to Timothy,  scripture writes that God was justified in the Spirit.  The JDS doctrine erroroneously reads this section of verse 16 to mean that the Spirit of Jesus Christ had received justification from sins in hell.   Once again this is blatant error on the conclusion and mindset of JDS teaching as the following scriptures reveal;

11.  He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall
my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
-  Isa. 53:11

18.  For Christ also hath once suffered for sins,
the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the spirit: -  1 Peter 3:18

8.  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.  -  Heb. 13:8

The prophet Isaiah describes Jesus that He is the Righteous servant who justifies many.   Peter rightly declares of Jesus Christ that He was the Just who suffered one time for sins of the unjust.  The writer of Hebrews correctly declares that Jesus Christ is the same, past, present and forever.  Therefore, we have the witness of both the Old and New Testaments that the Lord Jesus Christ has always been and ever will be both Righteous and Just.  That means that those inherent divine qualities of Jesus Christ can never, has never and will never be changed, corrupted nor altered.  Mankind either receives and believes this truth or we do not.

In no manner is verse, 1 Timothy 3:16, stating or indicating that the Spirit of Jesus was made unjust or unrighteous because of sins and then needed to be justified again in His Spirit.   Those who believe and preach the JDS doctrine believe that Jesus did become unrighteous and unjust in His Spirit for sins in hell and then needed to be justified once again in His Spirit.  This is simply not truth.  Jesus ability to justify many is based solely on the truth that spiritually,  He is inherently and unalterably righteous and just.  That is to say, the divine nature of the Spirit of Jesus was never made sin nor unjust nor unrighteous even though His flesh body was made sin.  No where in Isaiah do we read that Jesus is a unrighteous or unjust servant by which many are made righteous and justified.   Peter does not write of Jesus Christ that He was the unjust who suffered for the unjust.  Jesus Christ was always just and righteous in His Spirit.  Therefore as Isaiah correctly writes of Jesus, He is the righteous servant who justifies many.   It is because of Jesus Christs inherent and unalterable spiritual nature, His unchangable righteousness and justness which justifies many.
God was and is justified in the Spirit as written in 1 Timothy 3:16.   What is written of God in Timothy is simply an acknowledging of the divine and unchanging nature of God, i.e. Jesus Christ.  God, Jesus Christ,  is justified in the Spirit because He was and is and ever will be Just in His divine spiritual nature.  Other scriptures clearly write of Jesus inherent and unalterable justness;

13.  The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.
14.  But ye denied
the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;  -  Acts 3:13-14

51.  Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
52.  Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of
the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:  -  Acts 7:51-52

14.  And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see
that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.
-  Acts 22:14

22.  By so much was
Jesus made a surety of a better testament.
23.  And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:
24.  But this man, because he continueth ever, hath
an unchangeable priesthood.
25.  Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
26.  For such an high priest became us, who is
holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;  -  Heb. 7:24-26

18.  For Christ also hath once suffered for sins,
the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the spirit: -  1 Peter 3:18

Peter writes the phrase,  the just for the unjust .  Peter is clearly writing that Christ THE JUST suffered once for the unjust.  Peter does not write that Christ is the unjust suffering for the unjust.  Christ is THE JUST who suffered once for the unjust.  This confirms what Peter earlier wrote when scripture tells us these words;

18.  Forasmuch as ye know that
ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19.
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:   -  1 Peter 1:18-19

Moreover, Hebrews writes these words;

14.  How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through
the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?  -  Heb. 9:14

Peter writes that mankind was redeemed with the blood of Christ.  Incorruptible as of a lamb without blemish and spot.  The writer of Hebrews then specifically confirms Peters words by writing again of Christ who offered Himself without spot to God through the eternal Spirit.  JDS doctrine denies these scriptures in believing and teaching that the Spirit of Jesus was required to suffer torment and die for sins in hell.  JDS doctrine denies these scriptures in believing and teaching that the Spirit of Jesus was required to become unjust with sin and then needing a rejustification of His Spirit.  Christ is the Just, He is the Righteous and incorruptible Saviour who saved sinful mankind.  The Spirit of Jesus is holy, harmless, undefiled and separate from sinners.  The Spirit of Jesus Christ is the eternal Spirit.   If the Spirit of Christ needed to be renewed to justification from sins in hell as the JDS doctrine teaches then the scriptures are incorrect to write of the eternal Spirit.  If the Spirit of Christ needed to be renewed to justification from sins in hell as the JDS doctrine teaches, then the portion of the verse in 1 Timothy 3:16 should state a rejustification of the Spirit .  Yet the word rejustification is not used in Timothy.  Simpy because the Spirit of Jesus did not need to be rejustified.  It was always just.

Our justification was secure once Jesus blood was shed on the cross.  We are justified through the redemption in Christ Jesus.  That redemption was by way of the crucifixion and death of Jesus body on the cross, not by any additional suffering and dying for sins of His Spirit in hell;

23.  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24.
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25.  Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26.  To declare, I say, at this time
his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. -  Romans 3:23-26

8.  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9.  Much more then,
being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10.  For if, when we were enemies,
we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.  -  Romans 5:8-10
10.  For in that he died,
he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.  -  Romans 6:10

Christ suffered and died unto sin once, not twice.  Christ offered His body, not Spirit, for sin.  Our reconciliation to God was secure once Christ Jesus physically died on the cross.   It was this work of redemption on the cross by Jesus flesh and blood body in which the sinner by faith in the name of Jesus believes and is justified.   There was no additional need for the Spirit of Christ to suffer and die in hell for the sins of mankind in order to fully justify mankind before God.   There was no additional need for the Spirit of Christ to become unjust with sins in order to fully justify mankind before God.  The flesh body of Jesus being sacrificed on the cross and His sinless, incorruptible blood being poured out was the work of redemption and justification which fully and completely met the holy requirements of God to justify the ungodly sinner.  JDS teaching denies these scriptural truths.  And in doing so, believers and preachers of JDS deny the very Lord Jesus Christ who bought them.
