| JDS � Denying the Lord The JDS doctrine, abbreviated for Jesus Died Spiritually, teaches simply that our Lord Jesus Christ had to suffer and die spiritually for sins in hell in order to fully and completely redeem mankind from sin and death. JDS teaches that Jesus was a born again man by way of His resurrection from the dead. Among the other various aspects of the doctrine it also teaches that Christ had to take upon Himself the nature of Satan while He hung on the cross. JDS belief teaches that the Spirit of Jesus, ( after His physical death on the cross ), had to go to hell and literally suffer and be tormented by Satan and demonic forces for the 3 days and 3 nights after which His Spirit dies in hell. After this supposed event the JDS doctrine teaches that God then breathes new life into the dead Spirit of our Lord after which our Lord is raised from the grave. The teaching also believes that because of Jesus� spiritual death then this was cause for Him to have lost His position of Sonship with God the Father. In addition to Jesus� supposed loss of Sonship, JDS teaching claims that the Spirit of Jesus also needed to be restored back to righteousness and justness. That is to say, that the Spirit of Jesus needed to be rejustified in God. This is the teaching of JDS doctrine. Certain WOFers believe that Jesus spiritually died in the garden of Gethsemane or at some time prior to His crucifixion. However, this is also unscriptural. I now wish to share the scriptures which prove that these claims of JDS teaching are not scriptural and that such teaching denies the Lord Jesus Christ as written in Peter and Jude. Consequently, if we deny the Lord Jesus before mankind here on earth, we ourselves will be denied by the Lord Jesus in heaven; [1] But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. [2] And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. [3] And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. - 2 Peter 2:1-3 [4] For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. [5] I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. - Jude 4-5 32. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. - Matt. 10:32-33 8. Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: 9.
