| UPDATE: 08/31/09: The city of Houston announced that BARC would be removed from the Department of Health and Human Services. It will be its own stand alone department. We believe that this is a positive move for BARC that has been a long time coming. Hopefully, BARC will get the attention it deserves from the city and not have to compete with health department attention and money. |
