Survivor: Thailand - Despite being the least liked of any seasons, Thailand got off to a great star. However after that is slowly began to fizzle. Survivor Thailand was the first of many to come opening season twists. Unlike any previous seasons, the producers did not choose the tribes. Instead the two oldest castaways Jake Billingsley and Jan Gentry chose the 7 other people for their tribe. At the beginning of the season is looked like Jake's young and strong Sook Jai would dominate by sending three Chuay Gahn members home in the first 12 days. However Jan's older Chuay Gahn tribe was able to tie it up by sending the next two boots. Survivor producers decided to change things up again, instead of the usual merge at 10, the two tribes were just going to live on the same beach. Chuay Gahn won the next two challenge and sent two more Sook Jai members home before the merge at 8. With their numbers in advance they were able to eliminate the remaining three Chuay Gahn. In the end it came down to Brian Heidik, the used car salesmen who had a history of soft core porn, beat out Clay Jordan in a 4 to 3 vote. Thailand was probably disliked do to the hate the cast for each other and lack of more "fun" segments. Thailand had more strategy then the previous three seasons. Shii Ann was the only cast member to be in the All Stars, even winner Brian got snubbed.
