Reading over past entries I find a lot of meaningful experiences.  I felt a little disturbed however as I feel that too many of the last entries are based on negative overtones.  So with this in mind I decided to remind myself of all the things which make life worth living.  The concept came to me on the way home from the warehouse job last week.  I was feeling a bit down and decided that a few happy thoughts might cheer me up.  Not really so much memories, but the little things in life that make a difference.  Here is a list of some of them.

I hear the sound of a rushing stream, or is it the wind through the trees?  They sound much alike.  The warm innocent smile of Amanda Nicole, for one so small, such a beautiful soul.  The turning of the leaves in fall.  The organ playing at the mall.  (How did that come out as a rhyme?)  The deer that stroll into camp in at dawns first light.  The sound of crickets chirping to the night.  (There it goes again!)  The squirrels at Alum Rock park, the little sparrows in the parking lot.  The blossoms of spring and baby ducks, riding in the old green truck.  (This isnt funny!)  The twinkling stars of darkest night.  The touch of the bass I call Charley at Caswell park.  That funny frown that Shannon makes (It looks like a crescent moon.), and Courtney laughing at that funny frown.  That cute little dimple on Allens chin and all of the Cavemans gray hairs.
Puppy licks and fresh baked biscuits.  The fog that freezes on the trees and makes them look like they were flocked for Christmas time.  Robert after a night of drinking, getting lost in the closet while looking for the bathroom.  And the New Years Eve of dancing with Deana.  Joeys funny little growl and the way Greg looks when you leave him speechless.  The little fits Joe goes into when theres no nasal spray in sight and that Davious little look that Thun wears so well.  Looking at old artwork and a good musical played real loud.  Moms corned beef and cabbage and my sisters beautiful, long hair.  Dad and Derek when they get together and me staying cuddled up in the blankets on a cold winters morning.

Only a partial list, but a reminder of the little things.
