Yang Guo acknowledges his master, Xiao Long Nuu (Dragon Girl). Long reluctantly shows herself, embarassed and unused to all the attention. The people are shocked and could not believe that the pale, beautiful girl is indeed his master.

     When he sees her,
Huo Du says that a girl could not be appointed as Head of Wulin (Martial Arts World). Yang Guo says that they should settle the dispute over physical combat.

Yang Guo at first uses the Beat the Dog Stick Styles of Beggar Sect Kung Fu during his fight with Huo Du but the Mongolian prince says that he should use his own technique. Yang Guo agrees and returns the stick. He walks around the room, looking for a sword that he could use.

     The Taoist senior,
Yin Zhi Ping offers Yang Guo his blade but the young man merely walks past him. Zhao Zhi Jing admonishes his brother disciple, saying that Yang Guo is his rival for Long's love and that he should not offer him any weapon. Finally, Yang Guo finds a weapon he likes -- an old, rusty sword belonging to a kindly old man.

     The fight begins.
Yang Guo intends to end it quickly, using the Maiden's Sutra sword style. To keep his enemy at bay, Huo Du uses his Outrageous Wind and Rapid Thunder technique but Yang Guo has seen through the move. He finds Huo Du's weak spot and jumps in, aiming a kick to his head. Huo Du loses his balance but recovers fast enough to defend himself from Yang Guo's next attack.

Yang Guo tricks him twice, saying that he has concealed weapons and is using them against him. The third time that Yang Guo tries the same trick, Huo Du does not even bother to cover. However, this is also the time that Yang Guo uses the poisonous Golden Jade Bee needles of Ancient Tomb Sect (Gumu Bai). The poison takes effect immediately and Huo Du falls.

The people celebrate Yang Guo's victory over the Mongolian prince while the young man returns to Long's side.
Long observes that Yang Guo has improved his skills since the time they parted. Just then, Huo Du's senior, the huge monk Da Er Ba challenges Yang Guo. Seeing that his sword is broken, Long hands him her special silken white gloves. Now, Yang Guo's Maiden Fist Style will become even more powerful.
