Walter Parazaider Compositions IV
From Chicago XIII:  "Window Dreamin'" (Co-written with Lee Loughnane)

Take advantage of this chart, People - this is the only chance you'll have of getting into Walter's head.

Here is a man that had spent the last 11-12 years of his life in non-stop recording and touring, and he just plain wants to go home to his wife and family.  That's all there is to it.  By the time he wrote this, the gypsy had grown lonely, and tired of the caravan.

The music does reflect a bit of the hustle and bustle of touring with its driving groove, and you can feel Walt's pain in the high sax scream in the middle of the song.

I just wish they would have picked a different vocalist.  I had to go to the band's official website to get the words to this song!

Walter allowed us to see how human he is with this peek into the world he normally keeps private, and it had to have taken a lot to get it out of him.  He's proven to be a great songwriter in his own right.  Let's just hope it doesn't take another negative situation to get another song out of him.
This private gypsy reveals himself in "Window Dreamin'".
