King Kelly --Catcher-Infield-Outfield
Mike Kelly was a great player who played almost anywhere. His baserunning was
offensive but successful - by inventing the "fadeaway" or "hook slide" he was made immortal in the song "Slide,
Kelly, Slide". He was baseball's first superstar, his trade from Chicago to Boston for $10,000 was one of the
biggest deals in 19th century baseball.
