Lou Brock --Outfield

Now a Hall of Famer, Brock played only four seasons for the Cubs until he was given away in one of the worst trades in history. On June 15, 1964, he was sold to the Cardinals. In the trade the Cubs got an outfielder and two pitchers, none of whom lasted long. Brock finsihed his career with 3,023 hits and 938 steals (only Rickey Henderson is better). He had an average of .391 and recorded 14 steals in his World Series appearnaces, none of which he played with the Cubs. In 1979, his last year in the majors, he had his 3,000th hit, playing for St. Louis - against the Cubs.
