Welcome to the Washington Woodcarvers page. The Washington Woodcarvers are a group that meet in a twice weekly open carve format at the Washington Twsp.Senior Center. They meet On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am till Noon. The center is located just north of 26 Mi.Rd. on old Van Dyke on the east side of the road in behind the Washington Twsp.Police station(same building). This is a very nice facility and they do everything they can to meet the needs of the carvers. The carvers are a great bunch and will do all they can to assist or answer any of your carving questions.

A very special contribution they make to the local carving community is the Carvefest. This years Carvefest was the 3rd offering and was bigger and better than ever. The Carvefest is held in the fall. You can click on the link to see a few pictures that I took while there. This is a must do event for any level of carver from beginner to the more experienced carver. As soon as the details for next years carve are available I will post them here ASAP!

If you are a carver or would like to become a carver let these folks get you started in the right direction.Hope to see you there sometime!!If you have any questions about this group please use the email link below. Thanks again for stopping by and please come carve with us!!
