As with most things in Iersian society, planet names have hyphenated names to pay respects to the first Thsier and the first Bakorian astronomers who caught sight of them.  With the forming of the world government, the home planet of Ierths-Bakorsia was renamed Iersia.  The only other planet without a dual name is Harmisth, the small, dark, cold planet that was discovered only since the invention of powerful telescopes--it was named as a combination of the Thsier astronomer, Thsisth, who discovered it, and the Bakorian corporation, Harmemak, he was working with at the time.

Thsner-Ralina

The tiny planet closest to Terdalis is awash in radiation and heat from the yellow star.  While only somewhat rich in metal deposits, the heat, radiation and active geology of the planet has made any mineral extraction exceptionally costly.  With the success of the mining operations on Tshia-Caponis, only one organization has stated any claim to the planet--Makano Corporation.  Makano is a mid sized, Bakorian mining and metal company which has suffered significant losses in all but a few attempts to extract resources from Thsner-Ralina.  Makano takes advantage of the 100 hour day on the planet to get about 45 hours of mining done during the long, frigid, night before leaving the location.  None of the operations are permanent, and the only way the company has managed profit is by selling their high-tech equipment to other interests; some believe they are also backed by the Iersian government to some extent in order to promote testing of sensitive technologies.

Sthmi-Weisnol

Commonly referred to by Extra-Iersian explorers as "The Wasteland," Sthmi-Weisnol is a planet with no significant sources of desirable minerals, a thick and noxious atmosphere, and ripping winds.  There have been only 5 landings on the planet, only 1 of which survived, all others were torn apart by the continual, world-wide sandstorms or buried before they could turn around.  Data from mechanized probes have shown that the first 3 kilometers, of what could be termed 'ground', changes every tenth of an Iersian year.

Tshia-Caponis

The gold mine of the Terdalis system, Tshia-Caponis was home to the first twenty-three Extra-Iersian settlements--all mining colonies.  The planet has a metal core, like Iersia, but the crust is so heavily enriched with metals and minerals as well that the planet weighs more that its larger neighbor.  To further its value, the planet is almost habitable; while having a significantly higher temperature and no water, the atmosphere does have oxygen enough to survive on.  Most Thsier believe that if the heatweave technology can be perfected, they will be able to survive on the surface without other protection.  This belief alone has fueled the research for many decades.

Thsernis, the first settlement and capitol of the planetary bureaucracy, has a strong history of Thsier survival.  They have had more than a few accidents with supply lines, earthquakes, and bio-dome cracks.  The "gentleness" of the planet and the abilities of the Thsier to survive without food and water for long periods of time have made the city an idol to Thsier technology, strength, endurance, and ingenuity.  While some of the various colonies hold a significant number of Bakorians, the population, planet wide, is dominated by the Thsier because of their survival abilities and the Bakorians' dislike of the climate.

The land around Thsernis is the only stretch that is possibly arable.  Having lower heavy metal counts, there is an impressive network of greenhouses in this area.  Using offworld water (and carefully caught and recirculated by various technologies) and onworld soil, the network can produce enough food to feed the inhabitants of Thsernis for up to three days.  However, the vast majority of the residents still rely almost totally on offworld food and water.

Tshia-Caponis A, the planet's only moon, is not nearly as rich as the planet in minerals and has no atmosphere.  Despite this, many mining complexes have been set up on the moon by those who wish to avoid the fervent competition on the planet.  They have in the past come into conflict by hoarding foodstuffs meant for the planet and reselling them at a tidy profit.

Iersia

The home world of the Thsier and Bakorians, Iersia is filled with water, jungles, forests, swamps, tundra, mountains and arable grasslands.  Much blood has been spilled over the land here, but the strong alliance that has formed on this planet has made their journey into the system and stars far easier.  Iersia has two moons, recently renamed after the two names of Iersia.

Ierths:  Named after the original Thsier name of Iersia, Ierths has been transformed in modern times into a luxurious resort world.  Bakorian and Thsier alike come to the bio-domes on Ierths to escape their troubles, play in the light gravity, and relax.  Any form of entertainment can be found on this moon from Thsier prize fighters to Bakorian mind readers to gambling to theater.

Bakorsia:  A much quieter satellite than Ierths, Bakorsia has become home to some of the foremost technical universities and science research corporations in the system.  The original work on the Tshsim Project was conducted here at Ucolina Corp, before being transferred to their more secretive site on Thsopla-Meninar C.  Many of the best scientists in the known galaxy have been schooled here, done research here, or taught here.

Thsopla-Meninar

The massive, gas giant of Thsopla-Meninar was very close to turning the Terdalis system into one with twin stars.  The planet emits a decent amount of radiation and heat by itself, though pales in comparison to any star.  As with many gas giants, it has a noxious, swirling atmosphere with many rings of debris around its equator.  Its five moons are mostly just icy chunks of mineral poor rock.  Only Thsopla-Meninar E has anything worth mining, though few organizations compete for the deposits.  The third moon in orbit, however, has something more valuable than most any mineral--it has water!

Thsopla-Meninar C is the equivalent of Tshia-Caponis to many observers because of its tremendous supply of natural water, frozen all over its surface.  Other than ice oceans, the surface is otherwise unremarkable--thin, toxic atmosphere; frigid temperatures, low gravity (~0.6g).  Kopkor, the first settlement, was initially designed as a mining colony to bring water to Tshia-Caponis, but has emerged as a fantastic, cybernetic research location as well.  The Bakorian sect known as the Roppkor has its stronghold on this distant moon, away from the prying eyes the Highest and those of the Bakorian species that disapprove of cybernetic implants.  The research in this area has spread to the other three cities on Thsopla-Meninar C, including Loknicin, current home of the Tshsim Project and new corporate headquarters of Ucolina Corp.

The four cities on Thsopla-Meninar C have quickly evolved into some of the wealthiest in the system.  Not only do they have excesses of water to trade to Tshia-Caponis, but the cybernetic research institutes bring in some of the largest monetary grants the Thsier give.  All four cities are among the top twenty-five in terms of standard of living in the entire system, and with the diplomacy with the Darvin finally beginning to take steps forward, they expect their technologies will be even more in demand.

Tshival-Ospir

A giant planet, Tshival-Ospir is cold and desolate.  No mining colonies are allowed on this planet, and only one settlement has been founded here.  It is a world designed to be tested upon by the Iersian military and specially allowed other interests.  From weapons to environmental equipment to many other high-tech items, the technologies have left many scars in some areas of the planet.  The settlement is a high gravity training center, mostly for military troops, but some companies have requested access for future mining operations.  Additionally, a vast section of the planet has been devoted to waste disposal.  Tshival-Ospir is the waste dump and bombing ground of the Terdalis system.

Harmisth

The distant twin planet, with a moon almost as large as itself, Harmisth and Harmisth A bare the scars of a statistically unlikely number of comet and meteor impacts.  Neither body has any atmosphere to speak of, no obvious ores to extract, but are riddled with craters having diameters as large as 5% of the entire planet.  Scientists have done some study into this phenomena and are unable to find a reason for these impacts (three significant impacts have been witnessed since the twin world's discovery).  For now they have concluded that it must simply be an oddity.
