These are all graphic related sites. There's textures, photo's, general graphics, web graphics, stock art, and a bunch of other things.

TEXTURES
I have a lot of textures, I use a lot of textures. Textures can be used for all kinds of things. Some people use them in 3-D graphics work, other's like me, use it for general graphics. I use photoshop (define pattern, then fill). Or you can use them as a web background or windows wall paper. If you choose it as a web background, can you tone it down some what? It's impossible to read otherwise.
Almost all the texture links here are seamless, seamless textures repeat easily. If the texture wasn't seamless it would look like a bunch of stacked blocks, very unattractive. I'll try to remember to mention which sites don't have seamless textures. The sites without seamless textures can be made seamless in programs like photoshop.
I'm dividing up the categories, in easy to use and find categories. If you know of any links that I don't have, let me know. I'm always looking for architectural textures, like wood, bricks, the outside of houses and buildings, rust, metal, and things like that.
Architectural Textures
Everything in this category has the things I mentioned above. Bricks, wood, house parts, etc. They may also contain food.
Show Off Software - Free sample Textures - This company makes architectural textures, like house textures. They have quite a few free samples, like siding, roofing, etc. They also include the TIFF file, if you like that sort of thing.
Directory of - wuarchive.wustl.edu/packages/architec/Textures/ - Another FTP site allows only 500 users (so it might be a little slow). All of their graphics are in the TIFF format, which means there large, but crisp. There's a lot of neat stuff here, including a vegetable, skin, marble, and wood category. I give this site 8 STARS (because it doesn't have the small version of the graphic).
Doc OZONE: Textures & Such - textures - This site has some architectural textures on it, like wood, cloth, and marble. Other categories are things like food and whatever. There are thumbnails. And you may need Java to view some of the pictures.
Natural Patterns, Textures, Wallpapers & Backgrounds Library - There are quite a few categories here. I think a few textures here don't repeat well. I can't even guess how many graphics they have here, but there are quite few. Worth a look see.
Web Backgrounds
These are simple textures, and there best suited for things like web pages, and windows backgrounds.
DiP Pixelware HERE - This has a lot of bland backgrounds.
Web Paper - All the textures here look like paper. Ruled paper, pads, of paper, stapled, ringed, etc.
Hee Yun's Graphic Collection - There is a lot of textures here, and there rather simple to look at. Good for a web page, they also have lines, bullets, and buttons. But mostly backgrounds.
Elated Free Stuff - This rather graphic intense site, has graphic "kits". It's pretty nice, though I have to admit, I never really looked at this site very carefully. On my current modem it takes a long time to download anything.
MediaBuilder - Easy to look at, blah for me, maybe good for you. It's sorted by color, so that kind of tell's you what the textures may look like.
Organic Textures
All of these all have an organic feel to them. You could probably use these in a alien setting.
Charmyn's Seamless Textures - Lot's of textures here, about 10 pages, with about 10 pictures per page. They all have the alien texture feel.
Infinite Fish Textures - These are very cool. a lot of them have a stained glass feel to them. In fact I have a texture category in my computer just for glass textures. They look like they've been made in photoshop using one of Kai's tools. This is a definite place to look at.
Simple Textures
Some of these may look wild, but I put them in the simple category. These are textures, you may not know what to do with, but you may need them for something.
ClipArt Castle Backgrounds - All of the backgrounds here are related to a castle theme.
Mixed Textures
All of these should be seamless. All the textures here are in the non-defined, or total mixed. There could be food related, or ugly, or whatever.
Lillie's Backgrounds - There's a mix of different kind of homemade textures. Including basic backgrounds and border backgrounds.
Brad's Backgrounds - There are a lot of textures here with icons to go with them. But it's a big mish-mosh of stuff.
Pattern Land - Mixed is the best place for this, there are quite a few here. But you might have trouble finding out what you should do with these.
3-D Textured Backgrounds - All of these have a 3-D feel to them. you can decide on your own for that.
Web Graphics Depot - They have 180 free textures to download (or one large file). The graphics here are well...eh but there are a few winners. I think there is also some graphics there as well.
Non-Seamless Textures
Everything here needs a bit of work. Some of them can't be made into a tile, I know, I tried. But it could be used in a background for something else.
CLIPART
Animals
Web Graphics at Cat Stuff - Do you like cats? I know I do...with bacon. There are literately 1000's of cat related graphics here, textures, icons, clip art. There in cartoon form, drawings and photo's. So much, it just wants to make you puke.
Food
Free Food Clipart - These are all adorable, it's a whole bunch of food clipart. There's also a lot of other kinds of graphics there.
Mixed
The New Zealand Exposition Centre - There's quite a few icon like graphics here, they also have animated graphics.
Awsome Clipart Sites
All of these are really cool, and awe inspiring.
Clipart Castle - They have it all, they have a section just on fluer's, mid-evil armour (photo's), dragons, mythical people, shields, and weapons. They have ornamental graphics, Egyptian graphics, Aztec graphics, Mayan and space graphics. And there are tons in each category. 10 STARS
The Tomb of the Chihuahua Pharaohs - This bizarre little site has a lot of really clear photo's of Egyptian treasures. They also have clipart, and stuff for your web page. The quality is mixed here (some a re cheap cartoons, other's aren't).
Moyra's Web Jewels - This place is truly awesome. She set up "sets" of graphics. Everything you need to make a complete web page, buttons, bullets, bars, and backgrounds. There must be a couple a dozen sets here. The graphics or original, and have the "shiny" professional look.
ANIMATED GRAPHICS
I personally don't like animated graphics much, they're annoying. But I've found a few sites that has some far out graphics. I've collected some for the future, and you could remove the animated frames for the picture itself.
Clipart Connection - They have many categories to choose from. Most of the graphics here are icon sized.
The Animation Factory - There over 13,000 3-D animated graphics here. All are sorted by category. Some of the graphics can be chosen as a transparent graphic. I give it 10 STARS.
Animation City - There's over 200 animated graphics here. It's a mix of 3-D and the run of the mill graphics.
Shezam - There's a fairly large inventory of original gif animations.
PHOTO'S
Cars
Special Car Journal - They have quite a few good car photo's here. The site is set up like an auction.
Animals
ZooNet Image Archive - They must have over 100 photo's of animals here. It's listed by name, and the photo's are very clear.
Fish
Reef Aquarium Pictures - They have around one hundred photo's of fish. All of it is tropical related and they all have a picture index. On their home page, they give lot's of info for taking care of the unprocessed fish sticks.
Flowers and Tree's
Wild Flowers - This has a huge collection of wild flowers. This site was designed as a gardeners site. when you click on the species, it will show you it's picture along with plant info. Like where and when it grows, how large it is, and other plant stuff. The pictures are small, but clear.
Flower Web - Click on the FlowerBase to see the pictures flowers. It's a site just about flowers. The flowerbase section has over 7000 flower pictures!!! You can search by botanical name or by a host of other language names (spanish, german, etc).
Bonsai Web - They have everything you ever wanted to know about Bonsai tree's, and didn't want to know. They have a large assortment of the cute little tree's to look at.
Butterflies, Insects, and Reptiles
The Butterfly Zone - This page is meant for the butterfly connoisseur, it's meant for people who want the pretty bugs in their backyard. But in doing so they provided some nice butterfly graphics.
Mixed Photo's
Doc Ozone's Photo's - He has pictures of skies, and a bunch of other things. His site is a bit graphics intense though.
Snap-Shot.com - There are lot's of photo's here. They have landscapes, marine life, flowers, gardens, zoo animals, and major cities. I think there's about 1000 pictures here. There aren't a lot of pictures in each subject, because these are free samples from their disk. There's also a contest to win that disk.
Picture Archive - This is an FTP site, that has a lot of photo's. Ranging from sunsets, to animals.
Stuttgart's Picture Archive - There's a mix of stuff here, too many to list. There's also a german version of this same page.
Stock Photo's of Snakes and Reptiles - This site has dozens of reptile related pictures. Most of the pictures are snake related. And the pictures are a fair size and are quite clear.
Sunsets
Sunsets - There are some real pretty sunsets here. About 20 or so in all. Some are the orange-red type, other's are from dusk.
Landscapes
Dave's page of excellent photography! - There are pictures from places from around the country (US).
Photo Vault - They have mostly landscapes from around the world. But there are some animal photo's as well.
AZventure Hiking - All pictures here have to do with just Arizona.
Silver King Pictures - They have just mountain scenes. The pictures are a little grainy but otherwise clear. These are all samples of posters they sell.
Hawaiian Photo Tour - See the pretty sites of Hawaii. See pictures of Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Maui, and Hawaii. The pictures are fair, but kind of large.
New Mexico Photo Album - A bunch of pictures of New Mexico. The pictures a clear, sharp, and quite gigantic.
John Donohue's National Park Photos - There are tons, of landscape photo's here. There all of national parks from around the US, listed alphabetically. The pictures are a fairly good quality, and are on the large side.
ILLUSIONS
These are all sites that have illusion type graphics on it.
Mc Escher
David McAllister's Escher Collection - He has around 60+ Mc Escher drawings here.
CARTOONS
Toonland - There is a large collection of homemade, though fairly professional cartoons here. There's quite a variety to choose from. Some of the cartoons are animated. But beware he has a midi song built in to every page, which becomes real annoying real fast.
Cartoon's by the Wizard of Draws - There's a large assortment, the pictures have that rather cartoony feel.
ICONS
MediaBuilder Icon Library - This place must have thousands of icons for you to use. Use them in windows or as bullets on your page.
