Not really a "Disco", more a huge bar situated on the left at the end of Soi Sunset with really good music, packed on every occasion that I visited it. A meeting place for the young trendy crowd (tourist and Thai). Not a gay establishment but a great mixture of everyone enjoying themselves! Normal bar prices and no entrance fee. Great music, good sound system and although there was no real dancefloor the whole place seemed to vibrate with the beat of some very hot and very cute boys!!

This huge Disco is a short Tuk tuk ride from Patong Beach but more than worth the ten minutes ride. I didn't have to pay any cover charge and as far as I know they don't ask for one even in the high season. The whole complex is very spacious and airy but with plenty of fans to keep you cool. The complex also has a restaurant, five bars, outside pool, and a "love garden" Mmmmm!? The music was 100% and unlike some clubs in Europe there were plenty of places to sit after exhausting yourself on the dance floors. Certainly worth the short ride!! Plenty of parking for your moped ..... but! .... not the best roads to be driving on after a drink!! (Tuk-tuks always hang arround outside). Closes late so don't make any early morning appointments!
Don't miss it!! ... Highly Recomended (By Me!! ... and the locals!)

On the Sea Front Boulevard
Set on the sea front boulevard this disco attracts a mixed young trendy crowd. Although I didn't return to this club in 1999 I was told that it had lost most of it's Gay Attraction and that most of the Boys were now heading off to the Shark Club which I am still trying to get some info about. Whilst the music was very good it didn't seem to be co-ordinated with the lighting system? The club operates a cover charge system but the entrance price pays for your first drinks. Many boys seem to head off for Safari after this club closes (3am).

public, It's not Gay (but a lot of the boys are!!!) ......... It's
Big!!, It's spent a lot of money on a
great Lazer light show and the music is mostly European
and American Techno (at the moment) Two floors and a huge dance floor.
There is an entrance fee of Bht. 100 but you get a voucher for your first
drink. Open every day.
So now you know it ..... Shark
is IN ..... and Bananas is OUT !!!

Patong's largest disco with a capacity for over 1,000 people! Not Gay but certainly worth taking a look. Renouned for it's "Designer" sound and light system. Music from Europe and America. This is where the locals head, when the other bars shut down for the evening. Large screen video and special prize's every Saturday night.
