Well!!!
.... Possibly like me
you wouldn't dare to
go into a place where you might end up singing
infront of everyone? ...
but it's actually not as bad as you might think!! ... All
you have to do is drop in a few of the bars first! ....
then with your "Dutch courage" you
can imagine (as I did!) that you are Shirley Bassey and walse in "Wearing
only your best Tanga!!!"
The Karaoke lounge is a lot
of fun and is situated on the first floor corner building with the entrance
just opposite David's
Bar. The selection of
music was more than I needed and although quite a lot of it was Thai songs
there was also a good English language selection. Drinks are served at
your table and were very reasonably priced. Best thing to do is to invite
some of the boys from
the nearby bars to come for a drink with you (as I did!) ..... and they
will show you how it works (and possibly a lot more!!). Friendly
and well worth a visit!

A very nice bar that I visited every
day. Each time it seemed
to have that "Welcome
Back" and
I was quite ammazed on one occasion when I walked in and the boy behind
the bar said "Hello Neil" because as far as I could remember I
hadn't seen him before (unfortunatley!) but he
had obviously heard of me from the other boys there! 
The bar is decorated with lots of "naughty"
but very interesting photo's that
are worth taking a look at (if you can keep your
eyes off all the beautiful boys for a few minutes!!?).
It made me feel very welcome and all the
boys were a lot of fun (on both sides of the bar!) 
Outside (at both ends of the building) are two very comfortable terraces
for that "quieter" drink in the setting sun! They also offer massage for
(I think?) 700 Baht. and if
you see the "masseurs" you will certainly be tempted!!Virtually
opposite Davids Bar.

(They didn't have a name so I told
them I would call them that!)
On the corner (Way Out) Paradise Complex.
I couldn't help seeing a very cute boy sitting behind this bar as I walked past on the first evening that I arrived. I saw him looking and I know that he saw me looking at him. It was still very early but I decided it would be a good idea to have a cola or something light! ..... It turned out to be one of the friendliest places to hang out at any time of the evening and I think I ended up ther at some time every day!!

to go to their "Opening Night" after a re-fit in the bar which now offers
quite
an extensive Caberet Show
(I think twice nightly?). Sorry I can't give you any more info at the moment
but possibly someone will send me some?

This new bar had just opened whilst I was there this year (1999) I can't tell you a lot about it but I know a guy who can!!! .... The very nice Siam himself (From Siam Restaurant and Hot Spot Coffeeshop) .... His newest venture should have a lot of flair if his other two establishments are anything to go by!! .... Don't exactly know when it's open but I gathered it would open in the early evening untill the early hours. and some "Hot" shows are planned for the weekends!!

Unfortunatly I didn't manage to
get along to their "New
Location" in the Paradise Centerbut
I had visited them in 1998 at their "Old Location" on the road that leads
to the beach. I think that if the boys are as friendly (and as cute!) as
they were in the old club then
it should be well worth a visit.

I may be wrong!!! .... I didn't
go there this year (or last year!) ..... for one very good reason ....
They
charge a Bht. 200 Entrance Fee !!!!! ...... and then charge Bht. 200 for
drinks!!! ...I personally found this to be exhorbitant
when I think that "Uncle Charlies Boys" charge No Entrance Fee and
only Bht. 100 for drinks!! . . . . . It wasn't a place that anyone
"invited" me to take them to and nobody even mentioned it?? . . . . .
Possibly all the boys have dicks down
to their knees?? .....
