| Boy Scouts Japan Trip |

| Sensei Kawahatsu is organizing a trip to Japan in 2006 to join the National Boy Scouts Jamboree in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. This tour willl provide an understanding of Japanese culture and history, as well as spiritual growth. There will be stops to visit temples, churches and gardens in Osaka, Okayama, Shikoku (Sensei's hometown, where there will be a day-long trip to the beach), Kyoto and Tokyo. During the trip, there will be home-stays with Japanese families, visiting Konko High School in a student exchange, a tea ceremony, martial arts and much more. He would like to encourage you to sign up for this exciting trip, so please fill out the registration form and a $100 deposit check (payable to Konko Church - Shin Shin Gakudo) and send it to him before January 30, 2006 to reserve a space. Important note: You must have a passport for this trip; if you do not have one, please let me know. Cost: $2,505.00 for Boy Scouts $2,825.00 for people who are not Scouts (includes extra 4-day hotel stay, half of your expenses will be tax deductible) Cost will include airfare, hotel, two-week rail pass, meals, sightseeing, offerings to churches and other expenses.
