Injured in war, millionaire weapons designer Tony Stark built a suit of armor to keep himself alive. Once he recovered Tony realized he loved being the hero Iron Man, and kept the armor around,eventually adding pulsar rays. He helped found the avengers, telling the press that Iron Man handled his personal security. Over the years,Tony's worn dozens of armor suits, recovering from alcoholism and has even had his pal Jim Rhodes (AKA War Machine) stand in for him as Iron Man,Now Stark is back as Iron Man and is, as always invincible!
Silver Centurion's First Appearance: Iron Man #200, West Coast Avengers Vol.2 Number #1 or Secret Wars #5 I have no idea,which one came first, but I'm pretty sure Secret Wars #5 came first.Silver Centurion Armor Appears in Iron Man 200-232,300, Iron Man annual 8 and 9,Secret Wars 2,5-10? Not really for sure.West Coast Avengers 1-30.. but I'm not sure how many WCA issues SC armor appears in, but I do know the new red and gold armor comes in at ish #50 of the west coast avengers.I'm sure the silver centurion armor appears in many more marvel comics from the late 80's.
