Episode Summaries (46-60)
58. The Robot’s Robot – Robotnik implodes
a village with his new Super Planetary Implosion Machine (SPIM). When
the device that powers the SPIM, called the BLAMO, is almost dropped by
Grounder, Robotnik says that an idiot could make a better robot. When
Robotnik leaves, Scratch and Grounder make their own robot. They name
the robot Robot and make it do chores. When Robot breaks the dishes,
Robotnik appears and threatens to turn Robot into a popcorn popper.
Robot runs away, packing the BLAMO in his knapsack. Sonic sees Robot
speed by and shows Tails the picture of Robot in the newspaper. After
reading that the robot had an unstable device, Sonic decides to chase after
Robot. Robot accidentally falls off of a cliff, and Sonic digs a hole
so that water comes up from the ground. Soon two kids (whose village
was imploded) find Robot. Sonic shows up and asks Robot for the device.
Robot throws Sonic the device, but Robotnik grabs it. Sonic and Tails
chase Robotnik back to his fortress. Sonic adjusts the SPIM so that
it restores the village and sets the SPIM to implode the fortress.
Sonic, Tails, and Robot watch the fortress implode and Robot decides to
dump Scratch and Grounder. After a suggestion from Tails, Robot finds
a new home in Scrap Valley.
