For the Upliftment of the Black Family

EDUCATE

We must educate ourselves about ourselves.  We should be aware and proud of the many extraordinary members of our race.

POSITIVITY

We must be positive role models for our young ones and peers.

SUPPORT

We must first support ourselves, our families, then help another become self-supportive.

UNITY

We must conduct ourselves as brothers and sisters.  Males and females must unite to uplift the race.

ABSTINENCE

We must abstain from indulging in what "the other" has utilized to orchestrate the demise of our mighty race:  mainly drugs and alcohol.

ECONOMICS

We must understand that ownership is vital regardless of how large or small -- be it property or a business.  To control our future, we must own something and build from that point.

SACRIFICE

We must sacrifice some pleasure in the present to insure a future for our families.

RESPECT

We must exhibit respect for our elders.  For they have accomplished and endured before us.  We must also show each other respect.  Committing crimes against each other will not benefit the uprising!
