Lets do it again - Steam
into Spring is on again in 2003 Following it's successful first steps last year, Steam into Spring has been launched again as a way to group market the rail themed activities that can be enjoyed in Toowoomba at Carnival of Flowers time. All the cooperators from last year are again keen to be part and show the world that there is plenty to do in Toowoomba. |

Bluff (9 September 2002) Spring Bluff is one of the world's most beautiful spots to watch a steam train. The magnificant gardens are looking beautiful this year with recent rains and warm weather. If you would like to see BB18 1/4 locomotive No. 1089 passing through Spring Bluff the times approximate times are: Sat 21, Passing Spring Bluff 10.42am, arrives Toowoomba 11.20am Sat 21, Departs Toowoomba 1.50, Stops at Spring Bluff 2.25pm to 2.48pm Sun 22, Stops at Spring Bluff 11.22am to 11.30am, arrives Toowoomba 12.12 Sun 22, Departs Toowoomba 3.00pm, Passing Spring Bluff 3.45pm |

This sponsorship will allow Steam Into Spring to produce and distribute brouchers, create this web site and undertake advertising in local media to promote the activities of the organisations involved in Steam Into Spring. |

What is Steam Into Spring? (25 July 2002) Steam Into Spring is an initiative of the Darling Downs Historical Rail Society in conjunction with the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers Corporation. The aim of Steam Into Spring is to promote Toowoomba as a destination for rail tourism by group marketing Toowoomba’s rail activities. Steam Into Spring is expected to increase visitor numbers to Toowoomab for the Carnival of Flowers by offering visitors a critial mass of rail themed activities to enjoy. It is expected that participating organisations will also benefit from the reteral network that Steam into Spring will create. |
