Unilateral Recognitions:

TORHAVN ALSO EXTENDS UNILATERAL RECOGNITION TO THE FOLLOWING NATION(S):

and cordially invites these to further discussion regarding Bilateral Recognition & future Alliance

In addition, as a general rule, it will be the habit of TorHavn to grant Recognition to any nation recognized by the United Nations, unless it conflicts with an explicit recognition of a competing claim which we (prefer to) Recognize, as listed below.

REGRETFULLY, IT IS ALSO THE DUTY OF THE MINISTRY OF INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS, AS INSTRUCTED BY THE VIRIDIAN CROWNS, TO DECREE: THE FOLLOWING STATUS OF THESE NATIONS IS LISTED BELOW:

  • Suspended relations:

  • The Rasinate of Q'attera-Macusiaa

    (MICRO-)NATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS:

The Kingdom of TorHavn is also part of the following (Micro-)national organizations:

And is the proud sponsor of the SPECIAL NOTE:

This Office also extends Unilateral Recognition to an organization that qualifies as a nation under the same criteria as many of our erstwhile allies: Society of Creative Anachronism --- as listed in "How To Your Own Country" 2nd ed. by Edwin Strauss.

We do this in respect and admiration, even though this "empire" neither engages in foreign relations, per se, nor even extends such Recognition to its own Self. Yet the S.C.A. is an empire many would envy if only they understood the true complexity of it.

Made up of kingdoms, principalities, baronies (etc.), the Society extends worldwide, with a (quasi-)political machinery & continuity that most macronations cannot muster. And even when the dreaded word war is bandied about, the kingdoms of the S.C.A. understand that such might be more like a game of soccer or "capture the flag" (ed. note --- precisely!!!) instead of what is the norm in the world of those "who sit at UNO."

In conclusion: We would also like to add that if all micronations were as organized and as multitudinous as this society, we would all indeed be a force to be reckoned with.

All nations desiring to contact TorHavn regarding
diplomatic relations should click here to the process.
