Chad Christ received scholarships to some of the best fine arts schools in the country, but after realizing that he would probably need to die before he made any money as an artist, [he] decided to pursue a career in music, [which is] his first love. 

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Chad was working as a welder in a fabrication plant and playing music at night. It was at one of these performances, in a bar in Washington, DC, where he was discovered by agents in town for 'Model Search America.' They convinced him to come meet with them the following day and he soon had an audition for a daytime drama in New York. While he did not get that role (although it did come down to him and two other actors), Chad went on to appear in a number of commercials. 

His first big break came in the movie Gattaca, in which he played the young Vincent (Ethan Hawke's role). He also appeared in the one-night only theater production The Trouble With Calli, a Sorvino family production directed by father Paul, written by daughter Amanda and produced by daughter Mira. Chad [was cast in] the television movie About Sarah with Mary Steenburgen and Kellie Martin.

Other television movies followed along with guest stars on TV series. His latest project to date was his role as Tommy in Ricky 6, which starred Vincent Kartheiser.
