We are
proud to present you our cool MARRY PICTURES project ! Just because contemporary art became to be boring and
skills artistically, we
invented a comics look at art with dynamic frames and switches. Have a look
at pictures and manifesto!
Viva
the Marry Pictures!
Three
artists: EugeneZhilinsky,
Tania Kornfeld and Alexander Geifman, who joined
togetherwith
an idea, that kinetic merger of art and fiction employed
by thecomics
genre may lead to some new and fresh developments incontemporary art. These
three artists would like to see contemporaryart less
elitaristic, more
comprehensive and humanly satisfying(interesting,
entertaining). They get their inspiration from the
styleof
comic-book drawings, and this build up on it.
The
pure concepts of minimalism just represents, how it
is boring, when on a wallhangs the concept,
and the work itself does not find out In it
elementary operation and professional skills.
Therefore
their paintings are based on entertaining story or
framechanges,
taken from the laws and traditions of filmmaking:
dialogs andmonologs
of heroes, a storyline, figures and characters which
composeit,
and time
prolongation
aspects of the comics story and variouscompositions of
the frame swithes. The work of each artist reflects one part of a genre. An ironical
exposition of plots (Eugene Zhilinsky), game of the
plans and perspective reductions (Tania Kornfeld),
development of several types and characters (Alexander Geifman).
Sometimes
the paintings are accompanied by a musical
background andthe
show becomes a multimedia party.
Here
is a T.Kornfeld's - "
A Monster behind the window ". The person
considers the image in each frame, and then draws up
in
consciousness the image of all three frames. "
Gees! - spectator amazed, - There is a monster
behind the window! " And it's truth - there is a monster over there.
Because the contemporary art manages without creation and creativity, and
IS really boring, the far-fetched concepts do not
frequently find out in themselves elementary
operation, nether professional skills, only one
makes comics, really makes interesting things and
really knows how to draw.
Alexander
Geifman develops in his art a Zionist theme. The
left picture named "Pulp fiction". Right -
has departed from the car-roof on a
high-speed highway Tel Aviv - Haifa. Some tracks immediately crushed it at once.
The passengers watched on
occurring from windows with horror. Our driver has
given a back course, jumped out of the car, crossed
the highway and rushed on a picture, which meantime
bored to the Mediterranean Sea. The restorers have
returned to a picture her previous look.
In this
case, at the opening ofexhibition
you are invited to a performance by the Auntro Aum
in aspecial
based on the idea of comics and video, accompanied by achoreographically
number " The bathing of Wonder Woman in the
BlackSquare".
The creativity of Auntro
Aum is devoted to creation of structure
interactively connecting the observer to object of
observation. This submission - parody on video art.
After the screens completely removed, the spectator
sees inside the smirking, painted out and drunken
naked woman. Unforgettable "The
James Bond Theme" accompanied "The Bathing
Wonder Woman". The ballerina Julia Petrova,
dressed in a red raincoat, dipped her head into an
aquarium from all to scope and pull out from it a
plastic word "FLIP!" Then aquarium with
floating "FLIP!" in it was solemnly set up
on podium and turned to a sculpture.
