Jay Kay, lead singer of the band set up Jamiroquai in 1992 and later released their number one debut album 'Emergency on planet Earth'. The 29 year old has had quite a difficult life having lost his twin brother at the age of six months and later becoming homeless later in his life after having a bust up with his mother Karen Kay the famous jazz singer. JK signed an eight album deal with S2 (sony music) and are now working on the fifth album expected to be released in spring.
