Jan 28 Peter Schaefer Update
as most people know, Peter Schaefer is playing for a team in Finland because of a contract problem with the Canucks. I decided to find out how he is doing, which was kind of hard, because the website is in finninsh but I did the best I could.
His team is called TPS Turku, and they play in the finnish league. In 20 games he has 11 goals and three assists, for 14 points. Two of those goals came in a 4-1 victory over Jokerit a couple nights ago. Former Canuck Chris Joseph is also on TPS Turku, as well as Mikko Koivu, younger brother of Saku Koivu. Their next game is on the 31st against the Blues. Mike Stapleton, a Canuck for a short time is on the Blues.
