Adding and subtracting fractions! |
When fraction have the same denominator you can add or substract them easily. If the fraction have different denominators you must make the denominator the same first. Like this: 1. Find the lowest common multiple of the two denominators. 2. Rewrite the fraction as a equivalent fraction with lowest common multiple as their denominators! When working with fractions lowest common multiple is called lowest common denominators! Below are the examples! |
