First off let's get one thing straight! Computer gaming is well on it's way to becoming the way to play games! Sure it's gonna take time, but let me tell you that computers will be competitive with Silicon Graphics workstations used by the likes of Lucasfilm and Pixar! On the ma$$-market front however computers will also be competitive with $200 game consoles! Keep in mind that if you are or are going to indulge in computer gaming then I strongly suggest you take care of your toys! What I mean is this...If you are going to become a serious computer gaming enthusiast you should be able to maintain your system! And you should keep on top of the latest trends in hardware and software! That way you can stay ahead of the game! It always sucks when you buy a brand new piece of hardware only to find out that it is technology that is being phased out!
